Spiedino Top Sirloin
The Spiedino top sirloin was probably my favorite dish of the night! The beef was super tender with a great smoky char, and the soy-mirin glaze added just the right amount of sweetness and umami. Definitely something I'd order again.

Nero Di Tokyo
If you're visiting Ciaorigato, do yourself a favor and order the Nero di Tokyo pizza. This pie perfectly captures the restaurant's Italian-Japanese fusion concept without feeling gimmicky. The squid ink tomato sauce provides a deep, savory richness that sets it apart from a traditional marinara, while the calamari adds a fresh seafood element that complements rather than overwhelms the pizza. The shiso brings a subtle herbal brightness that cuts through the richness and ties all the flavors together beautifully. What impressed me most was how balanced the pizza felt. With ingredients like squid ink, tamari, and calamari, it could easily have become too salty or heavy, but every component seemed thoughtfully placed. The crust was crisp on the outside, tender on the inside, and sturdy enough to support the toppings without becoming soggy. Each bite delivered layers of umami, freshness, and texture. The Nero di Tokyo is a creative pizza that actually succeeds in blending Japanese and Italian influences into something unique and memorable. It's the kind of dish that makes you want to come back just to order it again. Highly recommended for anyone looking to try one of the most distinctive pizzas in San Francisco.

It was absolutely delicious! For someone who doesnt usually like tiramisu, this was the perfect balance of sweer and will definitely be coming again!
